Just back from flying away to Spain. My email crashed soon after I left but I had some lovely comments before things disappeared into a black hole. These included..."Beautiful, soaring story" (Jo)..."How beautiful" (Lizzy)..."Aaaah si..." (Paul)..."What a beautiful story" (Anita)...."What a beautiful story. One that I will return to for continuing inspiration" (Olivia)..."I liked the sensation of flying above the world with newly-sprouted wings" (Jayne)..."Not only is it very clever but it's very beautiful" (Margaret W)

Thank you.

Really enjoyed that John, a few minutes beautiful escape, thanks. I've had a lifelong fascination with not angels, but fairies. There's something about wings and freedom I guess...(in a totally non Red Bull way!)

You might want to add your own magical realism stories. Or take a look at www.shortbreadstories.com to read, hear or post your own stories of all kinds. it's a site initiated by Robin Pilcher who owns the Finca near Aracena where we run Dark Angels courses every year.

Angels seem to be an obsession of mine. It started with Milton many years ago, continued with Philip Pullman, and then with my book Dark Angels. Anita Klein is an artist who seems even more obsessed by angels - her work is beautiful. Take a look.
